Organizing Services

  • Start small and simple! Our tendency is to want to jump in with both feet and empty a closet or a room. And then….we run out of steam and there it all sits - no bueno!

    I strongly suggest starting with a kitchen or bathroom drawer, using the clutter flow chart (available on the Organizing Services page), setting a timer for 15 minutes and getting to it. If, when the timer goes off, you’re still going strong - keep going! If not, set it aside and return tomorrow for another 15 minutes. You’ll be in the groove and making progress before you know it!

  • That’s a resounding NO! My job is to support you in making decisions about what you need, use, and love as well as making your space reflect who you are and how you want to use it.

  • Maybe you don’t! Chances are, if you are on this page, you are looking for some support and help - that’s where I come in. A healthy dose of accountability and side by side work can make a big difference in a relatively short amount of time.

    I help keep the momentum going, the “maybe” pile at a minimum, and take a load of donations out of your space at the end of a session.

  • NOTHING! While our instinct is to buy containers and cute storage boxes, the reality is that we have to decide what we are going to keep in the space BEFORE we decide how to store it there!

    Sessions focus on removing what isn’t needed, used, or loved , helping the space become functional and welcoming.

  • Much like a doctor can’t tell us how long it will take to lose weight, I can’t answer the “how long will it take” question either.

    There are so many variables to take into account - how much there is to do, how long it has been there, what state of mind the client is in, etc.

    I work at the pace of the client and do my best to keep the momentum going.

  • I have two ways I start working with clients (after the initial session we create an individual plan and go from there).

    Strategy Session: personalized 60 minute one-on-one session to create clarity and a plan for your home. We’ll focus on the spaces that matter most to you, and you’ll receive a customized follow-up with next steps and tailored recommendations. Investment - $129

    Hands On Session: Up to 3 hours of dedicated, hands-on organizing support. We’ll roll up sleeves and work side-by-side in your space to clarify your goals, make confident decisions, and create systems that truly work for you. Investment $149

  • Home base for me is northern Minnesota, and I travel all over to work with clients. I’ve worked with clients all over Minnesota, Colorado, Iowa, California and North Carolina. I love to travel; no project is too big or too small.
